Sun Communities Appoints Robert A. Garechana as New Chief Financial Officer

Sun Communities (SUI) has appointed Robert A. Garechana as its new Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer, effective September 8, 2026. Mr. Garechana joins from Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR), where he previously served as Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Fernando Castro-Caratini, who will transition to an advisory role through October 31, 2026.
