Sibanye Stillwater reported a dramatic financial turnaround for the first half of 2026. Higher commodity prices and stable operations drove the performance.

The company posted a profit of R18.8 billion. This marks a significant reversal from the R3.9 billion loss recorded in the same period last year. Revenue surged 64% to reach a record R90 billion. Adjusted EBITDA more than doubled to R31.8 billion.

Operations generated record cash of R19.6 billion. The company used these funds to slash net debt by more than half to R9.7 billion. The net debt to adjusted EBITDA ratio improved to 0.18x.

The board declared an interim dividend of 201 SA cents per share. The total dividend payout amounts to approximately R5.7 billion.
