Sony will release God of War: Laufey exclusively for PlayStation 5 on February 16, 2027. The company confirmed the launch date during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
The upcoming installment shifts the series focus from longtime protagonist Kratos to his wife, Laufey. The narrative follows her journey through a mythical afterlife.
Developer Santa Monica Studio also confirmed a subsequent Kratos-led game is currently in development. This future title will connect directly to the events of the Laufey storyline.
