SRx Health Solutions (NYSE American: SRXH) and merger partner EMJ Crypto Technologies (EMJX) acquired a 4.99% equity stake in SmartKem, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMTK). The companies announced the transaction on June 8, 2026.
The acquisition was executed through a shelf takedown. SRx Health also purchased convertible preferred securities in SmartKem through a non-brokered private placement.
