China’s integrated circuit sector achieved a record $234 billion in exports over the past 12 months, representing a 43% year-over-year increase. This growth reflects a broader trend in which chip exports have more than doubled during the previous five-year period. During the first quarter of 2026, outbound shipments of integrated circuits accelerated further with a 77% surge compared to the same period the previous year.
