SK hynix raised approximately $26.5 billion in a historic U.S. initial public offering. The semiconductor manufacturer's American Depositary Shares (ADS) began trading on the Nasdaq on July 10, 2026. The offering included 177.9 million ADSs. Each share was priced at $149.

This event marks the largest-ever U.S. listing by a foreign company. The deal surpassed the previous record set by Alibaba in 2014. It ranks as the second-largest U.S. IPO in history, trailing only SpaceX.

Investor demand left the deal seven times oversubscribed. SK hynix will use the proceeds to expand production facilities for high-bandwidth memory (HBM). These chips serve as critical components for artificial intelligence processors. The listing provides U.S. investors direct access to a dominant player in the global AI supply chain.
