Siemens partnered with manufacturing solutions provider Jabil to increase U.S. production capacity for critical electrical infrastructure.
The collaboration utilizes a new 300,000-square-foot facility in Prince George County, Virginia.
Jabil will operate the site to produce Siemens' medium-voltage switchgear and integrated power distribution solutions.
This expansion responds to accelerating power infrastructure demand from the data center, utility, and industrial sectors.
The Virginia facility expects to create more than 350 jobs.
Production begins in the fall of 2026.
The move aims to shorten delivery times for equipment to bring energy-intensive projects, like data centers, online faster.
