Xylem Inc. agreed to acquire Cornell Pump and Roper Pump from Indicor LLC for $1.46 billion in cash. Indicor is a joint venture formed after Roper Technologies sold a majority stake in its industrial portfolio to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in 2022.
The acquired businesses are projected to generate over $260 million in combined revenue by 2026. These units maintain EBITDA margins exceeding 30%.
The transaction expands Xylem’s reach into specialized industrial and municipal applications. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
