Relay Therapeutics announced initial Phase 2 ReInspire trial data for zovegalisib. The study targets PIK3CA-driven vascular anomalies, which are rare disorders causing abnormal blood vessel development. The company presented these results at the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies World Congress.

Among 20 evaluable patients, 60% achieved a volumetric response at the 12-week mark. This response indicates a measurable reduction in lesion size. Additionally, 95% of patients experienced some degree of lesion reduction. A large majority of participants reported clinical improvement and reduced pain.

The therapy was generally well-tolerated by participants. No patients discontinued treatment due to adverse events. Relay Therapeutics is currently enrolling patients in expansion cohorts to further evaluate the drug.
