Rocket Lab USA, Inc. completed its 98th Electron mission with a dedicated flight for signals-intelligence company HawkEye 360. The mission, named “We’re Not Hawking Around,” lifted off from Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand on October 23, 2026. It deployed three HAWK satellites into a 520-kilometer low Earth orbit. The launch was Rocket Lab’s 19th of 2026 and its third dedicated mission for HawkEye 360.
The satellites add to HawkEye 360’s constellation, which collects radio-frequency signals for uses including maritime tracking and communications mapping. Rocket Lab shares rose 2% in premarket trading after the announcement.
