Rheinmetall signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with U.S. satellite company Vantor to develop a multi-domain intelligence platform. The planned joint venture will serve Germany and other European nations by integrating Vantor’s spatial intelligence with Rheinmetall’s command-and-control systems. This agreement represents the German arms maker’s first major trans-Atlantic space partnership.
During the Eurosatory 2026 defense exhibition, Rheinmetall signed a separate MoU with General Atomics. The two companies will explore cooperative production opportunities for the Vektrex™ 155mm precision-guided munition. These agreements facilitate Rheinmetall’s strategic expansion into space technology and advanced defense segments.
