Red Cat Holdings’ maritime division, Blue Ops, partnered with collaborative autonomy specialist Havoc. The companies will develop open-architecture autonomous maritime defense systems.

Havoc will integrate its autonomy software and command-and-control technology into Blue Ops’ uncrewed surface vessels. This integration specifically targets the Variant 7 platform.

The partnership aims to enable coordinated multi-vessel operations for U.S. and allied defense clients. The companies plan to establish operational fleets in Rhode Island and Florida to test these capabilities.

A joint marketing effort will introduce each company’s technology to their respective government and commercial customers. Red Cat shares fell over 1% in premarket trading on Monday following the announcement.
