Anduril and Qualcomm announced BlueChip, a joint initiative to bring computer manufacturing back to the United States. Its first planned product is a rugged laptop for military, government and public safety customers, with orders expected to begin in 2027.

The initiative aims to make computers entirely in the United States, from individual components through final assembly. Prototypes have been developed with more than 90% of component costs sourced from the U.S. and allied nations.

Qualcomm will supply Snapdragon X Series processors manufactured in Arizona, while Anduril will assemble the laptops at its Ohio facility. Founder Palmer Luckey said the long-term goal is to end reliance on foreign supply chains for critical technology.
