Legal experts urge Palantir Technologies to sue London Mayor Sadiq Khan. The Mayor blocked a £50 million ($67 million) contract between the firm and the Metropolitan Police. This agreement would have deployed Palantir’s AI for criminal intelligence analysis.

City Hall officials cited alleged procurement breaches for the cancellation. They claimed the Metropolitan Police failed to engage other potential suppliers. Palantir responded by accusing the Mayor of politicizing public safety.

The setback highlights growing international friction regarding the firm’s government contracts. However, Palantir still maintains a £330 million contract with NHS England. The firm also holds a £240 million agreement with the Ministry of Defence.
