London Mayor Sadiq Khan blocked a £50 million contract between Palantir and the Metropolitan Police. The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime cited a clear and serious breach of procurement rules for the cancellation.

Officials stated that Scotland Yard only engaged with Palantir and failed to demonstrate value for money. The Mayor’s office further warned that the proposed deal created a significant risk of vendor lock-in.

The move halts what would have been Palantir's largest contract in the British policing sector. Palantir shares traded lower following the announcement, though analysts also cited broader inflation concerns and a separate contract dispute as contributing factors.
