Petrobras reached a Final Investment Decision for its RPBC Biorefining project. The company committed approximately $1.2 billion to the initiative.

The project involves building a dedicated plant at the Presidente Bernardes Refinery in Cubatão, São Paulo. The facility will produce bio-jet fuel and renewable diesel.

This project serves as a key pillar of the Petrobras 2026-2030 Business Plan. The plant features a planned production capacity of 15,000 barrels per day.

Construction will begin by the end of 2026. Operations are scheduled to commence in 2030.

The investment supports the company's strategy to lead Brazil’s energy transition. The project aims to meet global and domestic regulations for cleaner fuels.
