Oracle expanded its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide direct connectivity between Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.

The collaboration enables seamless application hosting and data transfers between the two cloud environments. This integration aims to accelerate AI modernization and increase operational flexibility for multicloud users.

Oracle shares jumped over 4% in pre-market trading. The stock opened up 3.55% on the day of the announcement.

The move advances Oracle’s multicloud strategy to capture revenue from customers using multiple providers.
