Oklo filed an emergency complaint with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) against PJM Interconnection. The company alleges PJM improperly removed its 750-MW generating project in Pike County, Ohio, from the regional study cycle.
The proposed facility combines advanced nuclear, natural gas, and fuel cell technologies to power Meta data centers. Oklo claims the removal will delay the project by at least 14 months.
The company warns this timeline shift will significantly increase development costs. Oklo requested that FERC order PJM to reinstate the project, citing its critical national importance.
