NVIDIA is establishing a new research and development center in South Korea. It is formally named the AI Technology Center. CEO Jensen Huang announced this during a visit to Seoul. Hiring for physical AI and robotics roles has already begun. NVIDIA will construct a dedicated physical site once the team reaches sufficient scale.

The center will focus on physical AI, robotics, and AI infrastructure solutions. It aims to leverage South Korea's technological strengths. This initiative enhances collaboration with major local firms. These include Samsung, SK Hynix, and Hyundai. It positions NVIDIA closer to its critical suppliers of high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips.
