NVIDIA officially launched DLSS 5, its latest AI-powered graphics technology. The software debuts in the game NBA 2K27 on September 3, 2026.
The update introduces 3D-Guided Neural Rendering to achieve real-time photorealism. NVIDIA described the release as a GPT moment for graphics that blends generative AI with traditional rendering.
Access is exclusive to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs and the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service.
The company also confirmed DLSS support for upcoming titles including STAR WARS Zero Company™, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and The Blood of Dawnwalker.
