Nokia Oyj will rejoin the Euro Stoxx 50 index on September 21, 2026. Stoxx Ltd. announced the re-inclusion one year after the Finnish firm was removed from the blue-chip benchmark. Inclusion in the index often triggers automatic buying from passive tracking funds.

The company’s shares have more than doubled over the past year. This turnaround follows a strategic shift toward selling fiber-optic and IP networking equipment to builders of AI data centers.

Nokia reported that net sales to AI and cloud customers more than doubled year-over-year in Q2 2026. The Network Infrastructure division saw sales grow 12% during the same period. Surging demand for AI-related hardware drove the performance.
