NG Energy International Corp. reported successful drilling results from the Aruchara-5 well at the Maria Conchita block in Colombia.
The company connected the well to its central processing facility and began selling gas into the local market. Initial production rates reached 11.0 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d).
This addition increases total production at the Maria Conchita field to 18 MMcf/d. Total net production for the company now reaches approximately 23.2 MMcf/d when combined with output from the Sinú-9 block.
