Netflix launched its partnership with French broadcaster TF1 Group. TF1's live channels and on-demand content became available to Netflix subscribers in France starting June 19. The collaboration allows users to access programming, including dramas, entertainment shows, and live sporting events, directly within the Netflix platform.

This marks Netflix's first integration of a major free-to-air broadcaster's offerings. It signals a new strategic approach to content partnerships. Netflix will incorporate TF1 content into its recommendation engine and features like 'My List' and 'Top 10'.

Co-CEO Greg Peters stated the deal delivers more value to members. TF1's CEO noted it will help reach new audiences.
