Nebius Group N.V. announced on Monday a significant investment of approximately £1.7 billion to expand its artificial intelligence infrastructure within the United Kingdom. The investment will fund the addition of three new sites powered by NVIDIA hardware, enhancing the company's capacity to handle enterprise and agentic AI workloads.
This expansion builds upon Nebius's existing UK presence, including an NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra infrastructure launched in November 2025. The company stated that its four UK locations will have a combined capacity of 65 megawatts by 2027. This move is intended to support its growing customer base, which includes companies like Revolut and Prima Mente.
In terms of market reaction, Nebius's stock (NASDAQ:NBIS) saw a rise of about 2% in pre-market trading on the day of the announcement. The increase was attributed to both the investment news and a broader market recovery in the technology and AI sectors following a recent selloff.
