Vantage Data Centers and Nebius Group N.V. partnered to deploy NVIDIA-powered AI infrastructure in the United Kingdom. The initial deployment is situated at Vantage’s CWL1 campus in Newport, Wales. This agreement marks the first commercial capacity commitment within the South Wales AI Growth Zone.
Nebius will lease the capacity to provide AI workload support for enterprises, startups, and the public sector. The project forms part of a £1.7 billion investment plan by Nebius to develop four UK AI sites. This initiative supports the UK government’s strategy to strengthen domestic AI compute power. Vantage intends to deliver over 1GW of AI-ready capacity as part of its broader South Wales expansion.
