Micron Memory Taiwan signed a multi-issue labor agreement with the union representing workers at its Taichung facility, the company’s largest in Taiwan. The deal averts a mediation session scheduled for October 22.
The agreement’s terms were not disclosed. Both parties said they would communicate the details directly to employees.
The deal reduces the risk of production disruptions affecting DRAM and high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips, which are critical for AI servers. Separately, a union at Micron’s Taoyuan facility was planning a one-day strike over a bonus and profit-sharing dispute.
