Primary improvements target agentic performance in coding, computer use, knowledge work, and scientific research. GPT-5.5 features greater token efficiency and a more intuitive interface than its predecessor. The model carries a higher price point than GPT-5.4.
Subscribers of ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise currently have access. OpenAI expects to provide API access in the near future.
