Mistral AI Targets €20B Valuation, Doubling Worth in New Funding Round

Mistral AI is in early-stage discussions to raise approximately €3 billion ($3.5 billion).

The proposed funding round would value the French startup at about €20 billion. This figure nearly doubles the €11.7 billion valuation recorded in September 2025.

Former researchers from Google and Meta founded the Paris-based company in 2023. Mistral AI has emerged as Europe’s primary challenger to American giants OpenAI and Google.
