Everspin Technologies is targeting AI servers, data centers and satellite systems with its MRAM technology as NOR flash supplies remain constrained. In an interview with EE Times, CEO Sanjeev Aggarwal cited MRAM’s performance and reliability as key advantages for these demanding applications.
Aggarwal said customers are increasingly considering MRAM because they are having difficulty sourcing NOR flash products. NOR flash prices surged in the first half of 2026.
He sees a potential $3 billion market opportunity for MRAM by 2028 or 2029 as a result of the supply gap. Everspin is developing products to address the expected demand.
