Mobix Labs acquires Vision Aerial for $15M, targeting national security tech

Mobix Labs Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire Montana-based Vision Aerial Inc. for approximately $15 million. The purchase price consists of a combination of cash and stock. This transaction follows a letter of intent announced in June 2026.

The deal expands Mobix Labs’ footprint in the unmanned aerial systems market. The company intends to target national security, public safety, and critical infrastructure applications.

The acquisition integrates Mobix Labs’ radio frequency sensors with Vision Aerial’s drone platforms under the National Security Matters Initiative. Vision Aerial currently produces NDAA-compliant drones for the U.S. Air Force and Navy.

Mobix Labs expects the transaction to close during the current quarter. The deal remains subject to shareholder approval. Mobix Labs will retain Vision Aerial’s leadership and U.S. manufacturing operations.
