Meta Platforms has launched concurrent public offerings to raise approximately $35 billion for its AI investments.
The company is offering $22.5 billion of its Class A common stock. It is also offering about $12.5 billion in depositary shares representing interests in its new Series A mandatory convertible preferred stock.
Proceeds will support general corporate purposes, particularly Meta’s investments in AI infrastructure and the development of personal superintelligence. Meta projects capital expenditures of $135 billion to $145 billion in 2026.
Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom have indicated non-binding interest in purchasing an aggregate of up to $5 billion of the Class A common stock.
Meta has also announced a potential $60 billion at-the-market program for its forthcoming Class C common stock, expected to begin in 2027.
