Meta Platforms is reportedly gauging investor interest in a potential cross-border, investment-grade bond offering of at least $20 billion. The deal would include U.S. dollar- and euro-denominated debt, marking the company’s first bond sale in euros.

Meta has enlisted Citigroup and Morgan Stanley to arrange investor calls and assess demand. Strong interest could lead to a larger offering.

The move comes as tech giants increasingly turn to debt markets to fund heavy spending on artificial intelligence infrastructure. The potential sale will test investor appetite for technology debt amid scrutiny of the high costs of AI development.
