McKesson Corporation signed a definitive agreement to acquire Precision Medicine Group for approximately $2.25 billion. The deal adds clinical research and biopharmaceutical commercialization capabilities to McKesson’s oncology and multispecialty sectors.
Precision Medicine Group provides biomarker intelligence, lab services, and market access consulting for life sciences companies. These services support drugs from the development phase through market launch.
McKesson will integrate the business into its Oncology & Multispecialty segment. The transaction is pending customary closing conditions and regulatory approval.
