4E Therapeutics develops orally available MNK inhibitors as a non-opioid alternative for chronic pain. This approach targets specific signaling pathways in peripheral sensory neurons.
The method aims to provide relief while avoiding central nervous system side effects common in current therapies. The lead compound, 4ET1103, demonstrated a favorable safety profile in Phase 1 clinical trials.
