New Zealand’s Commerce Commission cleared Kimberly-Clark’s $48.7 billion acquisition of Kenvue.
The deal, first announced in late 2025, aims to create a global personal care and consumer health leader.
Approval remains conditional on the divestment of Kenvue’s feminine hygiene business in Australia and New Zealand.
Kimberly-Clark will sell the Carefree and Stayfree brands to prevent excessive market concentration.
The transaction expects to close in the second half of 2026.
Finalization remains subject to other pending regulatory approvals.
