The Kraft Heinz Company has agreed to sell its North American coffee business to private equity firm One Rock Capital Partners for an enterprise value of $650 million. The business includes brands such as Maxwell House and Gevalia.

The deal covers seven brands, two manufacturing facilities and about 250 employees. Kraft Heinz will retain a 30% non-controlling stake in the business.

Kraft Heinz expects to receive approximately $500 million in after-tax cash proceeds and plans to use them to reduce debt. The sale supports the company’s strategy to streamline its portfolio and focus resources on areas with greater growth potential.

The deal is expected to close in mid-2027.
