JPMorgan Chase officially named Marianne Lake as the successor to CEO Jamie Dimon.
Lake currently leads the bank's Consumer & Community Banking division. She will assume the CEO role on January 1, 2027. Jamie Dimon will transition to Executive Chairman after a tenure of more than 20 years.
JPMorgan is also in late-stage negotiations to join the International Olympic Committee’s top-tier global sponsorship program. The Financial Times reports the deal would begin ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics. The partnership would establish a major marketing presence for the bank in its home market.
