Intel and Hitachi have launched a strategic collaboration to advance physical AI, advanced computing, and next-generation digital infrastructure. The partnership targets the manufacturing, energy, and mobility industries.

The companies will focus on five key areas: foundry tools, quantum computing, energy optimization, custom silicon and edge-AI applications, and factory automation. This initiative combines Hitachi’s operational technology expertise with Intel’s silicon platforms and computing capabilities.

The collaboration integrates Hitachi’s manufacturing data analytics to improve yields and quality in semiconductor production. By combining these technologies, the partners aim to modernize operations and create more intelligent, resilient infrastructure systems.
