Intel revealed new specifications for its Crescent Island data center GPUs at the Computex 2026 conference. These accelerators utilize the Xe3P architecture to target the emerging agentic AI market.

Intel opted for LPDDR5X memory over the industry-standard High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) to avoid supply constraints. Partner designs can scale memory capacity up to 480GB. This high-capacity approach keeps large AI models closer to processing cores to improve efficiency.

The standard Intel reference design features 160GB of memory. This configuration operates with a 350W power target.
