Healthcare investment firm Deerfield Management significantly reduced its position in Inspire Medical Systems (INSP) during the second quarter of 2026. According to an August 14th SEC filing, the firm sold over half of its holdings, decreasing its share count from 2.70 million to 1.30 million. The value of Deerfield's remaining stake was reported as $57.85 million as of the quarter's end.
This disclosure reflects trading activity that occurred between April 1 and June 30, 2026. During that period, Inspire Medical faced revenue headwinds due to changes in medical coding and reimbursement, though it later reported Q2 earnings that beat estimates and raised its full-year guidance. Deerfield did not publicly comment on its reasons for the sale.
