The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is partnering with digital asset firm Securitize to develop the Digital Trading Platform. This initiative enables 24/7 trading for assets including stocks and ETFs.
Securitize will act as the first digital transfer agent to convert traditional securities into blockchain tokens. The platform aims for near-instant settlement, potentially using stablecoins for transactions.
Investors will retain full shareholder rights, including voting and dividends. This collaboration integrates NYSE infrastructure with blockchain technology to modernize the trading lifecycle.
