IBM introduced its Quantum Safe software portfolio, a platform designed to help businesses protect sensitive information from future quantum computers that could break current encryption standards. The company unveiled the software at its TechXchange conference.
The platform includes tools to identify cryptographic vulnerabilities, monitor security risks and help companies upgrade their systems. In internal testing, IBM scanned more than 47 million lines of code. The scan identified more than 3,900 cryptographic issues, demonstrating the software’s capabilities in a real-world environment.
The launch addresses growing concerns about data security in the quantum era.
