Iberdrola issued €1.5 billion ($1.74 billion) in senior green bonds. Investor orders exceeded €4.5 billion, making the offering three times oversubscribed. More than 330 international investors participated in the sale.

The issuance includes a four-year tranche with a 3.125% coupon. A second ten-year tranche carries a 3.75% coupon.

Iberdrola will use the proceeds to finance core network infrastructure and refinance selected renewable energy projects. This move supports the company’s strategic plan to expand regulated networks and renewable energy capacity. The high demand signals investor confidence in Iberdrola's green financing framework.
