HPE Launches AI Agent Architecture to Bridge Classical and Quantum Computing

CEO Antonio Neri unveiled HPE’s full-stack architecture for AI agents at the Discover 2026 conference. New networking hardware extends AI connectivity from data centers to the edge. Private Cloud AI updates now support scaling up to 256 GPUs. HPE also introduced NVIDIA-certified storage solutions to eliminate AI data bottlenecks.

HPE expanded its quantum computing initiative through collaborations with eight industry leaders, including Intel, Quantinuum, and Rigetti. These partnerships will create a hybrid platform integrating quantum systems with classical high-performance computing and AI infrastructure. The strategy aims to transition quantum computing from research to real-world applications.
