Holcim AG upgraded its full-year 2026 guidance following better-than-expected second-quarter results. The Swiss building materials giant now expects organic net sales growth of approximately 5% for the year. The company also anticipates organic recurring EBIT growth of around 10%.
First-half net sales increased 5.2% organically to CHF 7.93 billion. Recurring EBIT rose 11.5% organically to CHF 1.44 billion during the same period. Strategic acquisitions of Xella and Cementos Pacasmayo fueled this performance alongside strong market demand.
Holcim announced the updated figures on July 31, 2026. Company shares traded down despite the improved outlook. Market observers suggest investors had already anticipated the strong results.
