Reliance Industries announced a strategy at its 49th Annual General Meeting to integrate artificial intelligence across all services. The company aims to provide affordable AI access to over 500 million Jio telecom users. Chairman Mukesh Ambani intends to build a sovereign AI backbone to establish India as a global technology leader.

The plan embeds AI directly into the telecom network to enable call transcription and automated summaries. AI agents will also perform specific tasks during active calls.

Reliance is constructing a massive AI data center in Jamnagar using Nvidia GB300 systems. The facility expects to commission its first phase by the end of 2026. Partnerships with Google, Meta, and Nvidia will support the acceleration of AI adoption.
