Anthropic will implement these measures to enhance safety, prevent platform abuse, and comply with legal age restrictions. Third-party partner Persona will manage the verification process during routine integrity checks or when users access specific features.
Collected biometric data and identification will be used solely for verification and not for training AI models. This shift toward tighter compliance follows the temporary suspension of the company's most advanced models due to U.S. export controls.
