Google will be the sole operator of a new data center campus. The campus is located at White Oak Technology Park in Columbia County, Georgia.

The project spans nearly 2,000 acres. It will feature over 8 million square feet of data center space. The campus will include 23 buildings at full build-out.

This development significantly expands Google's presence in Georgia. It adds to existing facilities in Douglas and Troup counties.

County officials highlighted the project as one of the most significant investments in the county's history. In partnership with Georgia Power, Google committed to covering 100% of the new data center's energy costs.
