Six Flags Over Texas officially opened the Tormenta: Rampaging Run roller coaster on July 9, 2026. The company is marketing the ride as a major new attraction for the park and the broader organization.
The coaster breaks six world records. It is the tallest, fastest, and longest giga dive coaster in the world. The structure stands 309 feet tall. The ride reaches a top speed of 87 mph.
This signature attraction serves as a key element of the park's 2026 season. It is located in Rancho de la Tormenta, a new Spanish-themed village within the park.
