Fermi Inc. received three Siemens Energy SGT6-5000F natural gas turbines at the Port of Houston. These units are destined for Project Matador, an advanced energy and AI campus located near Amarillo, Texas.
The turbines provide a combined capacity of up to 780 megawatts. This delivery ensures the project remains on schedule to bring gigawatt-scale power online.
This milestone follows the recent appointment of engineering and construction partners. The facility is designed specifically to power large-scale artificial intelligence infrastructure.
